RACE 1 – CLUB MENANGLE WHERE HORSES FLY HEAT – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from ON THAT DAY.

SHOWEM SIMON had a tendency to hang in at various stages of the event.

Leaving the back straight on the final occasion GOLOVKIN was placed in restricted room when WRITE ABOUT HER was checked wider on the track to avoid SHOWEM SIMON progressing along the marker pegs. Pressure was also made from EYE TROUBLE which shifted down the track slightly ultimately GOLOVKIN was checked and broke stride. Stewards noted the incident and advised driver greater care need to be taken in similar circumstances.

MY SECRET BEACH which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 2 – CLUB MENANGLE COUNTRY SERIES HEAT – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from CARRAMAR TIMES UP.

CROSSFIREHALL had a tendency to race roughly at various stages of the event.

NIKITE RIVER had a tendency to strike its own wheel at various stages of the event.

CALLMEQUEENBEE which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 3 – HEARTBREAK HOTEL PACE – 2040 metres

SMART MAJOR hung out approaching the 700 metres and hampered the trailing runner SWITOWSKI which was over-racing.

IZZY WATT broke stride under pressure prior to entering the home straight on the final occasion. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 4 – ALL SHOOK UP PACE – 2040 metres

Driver J Brown (GOLD ONYX) was fined the sum of $100 under rule 168(1)(a) in the when shifting wider on the track passing the 1400 metres has contacted the off side sulky wheel of KISS KAM resulting in a puncture. Shortly thereafter KISS KAM was retired from the event when the tire fouled the wheel.

 

RACE 5 – TAB.COM.AU ELVIS CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL – 2040 metres                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Pre-race blood samples were collected from TINTIN NATURALLY NZ.

DOT AYOU broke stride during the middle stages of the score and checked the running of SCHOUTEN ISLAND resulting in a false start being declared. DOT AYOU again broke stride in the second attempt at scoring up and was out taking no competitive part in the event. Connections were advised that the mare would be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

LETS POP THE BUBBLES NZ broke stride rounding the first turn hampering the running of CARLAS ANGEL, then again broke stride passing the 600 metres when at the rear of the field. Connections were advised that the mare would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

BETTER BE DONNA NZ had a tendency to over-race in the middle stages of the event and broke stride prior to entering the home straight on the final occasion. A warning was issued.

MY DOLLY DIVA was slow away as the start was effected.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW REWARDS SERIES HEAT 1 – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from TRUNKEY JACK.

Trainer T Robb was fined the sum of $50 under Rule 210 for the late declaration of K Hocking as the driver of PARZIVAL.

JOGALONG ARN broke stride in the early stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued.

BEST BEAU was held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

SOLDTOYOULADY had a tendency to shift ground up the track under pressure over the final 100 metres. A Warning was issued.

PARZIVAL weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten some distance.

Upon request from connections MULTI SCORE will now be re-included in the mobile barrier draw.  

SOLDTOYOULADY which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 7 – HRNSW REWARDS SERIES HEAT 2 – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from OUTTA CROSSGAR.

I MERILYN weakened over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance. Driver M Robb could not offer any suitable explanation for the performance.

STUDLEIGH STRIDE which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 8 – HRNSW REWARDS SERIES HEAT 3 – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from LOTTA LAUGHS.MAKO BAY was examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

TULHURST LOVER hung out slightly shortly after the start was effected.

ROSEUPONHER which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 9 – KEVIN & KAY SEYMOUR EVOLUTION SERIES 3YO COLTS & GELDINGS HEAT – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from CAMBO BLASTER.

CAMBO BLASTER raced roughly entering the back straight on the final occasion.

BETTER SPORT was held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

MACH LE MORE which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.

 

RACE 10 – KEVIN & KAY SEYMOUR EVOLUTION SERIES 3YO FILLIES HEAT – 1660 metres

Pre-race blood samples were collected from SMOKIN ALICE.

Prior to the declaration of all clear stewards reviewed the start of the event in relation to SCHNAPPHSOT galloping during the latter stages of the score up. after review and taking evidence from driver D Hewitt it was established that FRANKIES TOOTH had hung out into the running of ZARAS HEAVEN which had placed SCNAPPSHOT in restricted room causing it to be checked and break stride, as not being afforded a fair start SCHNAPPSHOT was declared a non-runner in the event. A warning was issued against FRANKIES TOOTH.

NELLY ALBERTINA which was successful in the event was sent to be swabbed.
