RACE 1 – TOWN & COUNTRY RURAL SUPPLIES THREE YEAR OLD PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from WHEREYAGOINBABE.

Trainer’s Gemma Rue was fined $50 under R273(6)(b) for failing to present WHEREYAGOINBABE with gear approved by Stewards.

WHATA REACTOR was out of position at the start despite the effort of driver Bernie Hewitt. In view of the filly’s recent record, WHATA REACTOR will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

CHRIS BE QUICK was checked and broke stride when being restrained passing the 1300 metres to take up a position in the running line behind CUZIN PAT which had also commenced to be restrained at that stage of the event. Drivers Nathan Hurst and Ben Hagney were advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.   

GINGER LEIGH was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1300 metres.

WHATA REACTOR improved three wide from the 1000 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 750 metres.

Jake Davis was reminded to exercise greater care when shifting ground after CUZIN PAT was tightened for racing room and raced roughly passing the 400 metres when Mr Davis shifted STUDLEIGH SONNY away from the marker pegs, where also CHRIS BE QUICK hung in when racing to the outside of CUZIN PAT.

Post race swab samples were taken from STUDLEIGH SONNY.

RACE 2 – TAB.COM.AU LADYSHIP PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from BETTER THAN GRANGE.

JOHANNA PETRONELLA became unbalanced and galloped at the 1550 metres and inconvenienced MILLIE STREET, CLOSE THE SKY and NEGATIVE NANCY. In view of the mare’s recent record, JOHANNA PETRONELLA was stood down for 14 days and until it completes two requalifying trial.

MILLIE STREET and MYSTICAL SHANNON over raced during the early stages of the event.

CLOSE TO THE SKY was held up, inconvenienced and raced roughly behind MYSTICAL SHANNON which hung in and commenced to tire passing the 400 metres.

Post race swab samples were taken from BETTER THAN GRANGE.

RACE 3 – RELIANCE BANK PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from MAJOR HALL.

TIGERSPEED was fractious in the score up and inconvenienced FOUR STARZZZ CHIEF and SOPHIA SHANNON and as a result TIGERSPEED was out of position at the start. In view of the gelding’s recent record, TIGERSPEED will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

MAJOR HALL became unbalanced and galloped during the score up and checked TIGERSPEED causing that runner to break stride. In view of the recent record of MAJOR HALL, the mare will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

SOPHIA SHANNON will now be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.

TEDTOMO was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1350 metres.

Post race swab samples were taken from FAMILY AMBITION.

RACE 4 – LEXUS OF DUBBO PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from HEY SUZIE.

VIRGIN TOOTH improved three wide from the 1100 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 700 metres.

PEGGY SUE SHANNON was unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.

Post race swab samples were taken from ABERCROMBIE TAB.

RACE 5 – WIN NEWS PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from IF HES LUCKY.

REMEMBER MAC became unbalanced and galloped during the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. In view of the recent record of REMEMBER MAC, the gelding will be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

Post race swab samples were taken from ENK SPOT SHANNON.

RACE 6 – BATHURST TOYOTA PACE – 1730m

Pre race blood samples were taken from LORENZO SHANNON.

Tom Pay was advised to exercise greater care when easing the pace after he elected to restrain SNOOP STRIDE passing the 1300 when seeking to gain cover which caused LUCY LAMB to be checked and race roughly for a short distance.

CHERRY SWEET PEACH was caught racing wide in the early stages until obtaining the position outside the leader at the 1200 metres.

FANTASY LEVEL improved three wide from the 1050 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 900 metres.

SIOTADA hung in and contacted a number of marker pegs passing the 300 metres. In view of the recent record of SIOTADA, a warning was issued.

TAYLOR HOOD and RODANTHENIGHTS were unable to secure clear running in the early stages of the home straight on the final occasion.

Post race swab samples were taken from LORENZO SHANNON.
