Where the $$$$ went

ONE of the larger winning bets recorded with TAB on a New South Wales harness racing event recently was when one punter had a $5,500 wager at $1.00 for the win on Condafew which took home the cash at Tamworth on January 7.

Other large winning bets included:

  • $4,163 @ $1.50 on Let It Ride to win at Menangle (09/01)
  • $3,500 @ $3 on Kavorka to win at Bankstown (08/01)
  • $3,320 @ $2 on Senor Macray to win at Menangle (09/01)
  • $3,000 @ $1.55 on Illinois Beauty to win at Temora (05/01)

 

Meanwhile, one punter was hoping for a nice return when backing Love This Girl to win at Bankstown on January 8, however, she finished fourth making the $5,000 wager at $3.40 for the win unsuccessful.

Other large losing bets looking for better luck next time were:

  • $5,000 @ $6 on Christian Shannon to win at Tamworth (07/01) – finished third
  • $3,896 @ $1.45 on Tiwanaku to place at Temora (05/01) – finished sixth
  • $2,390 @ $1.90 on Apollo Thirteen to win at Newcastle (09/01) – finished fourth
  • $2,250 @ $2.15 on Mighty Flying Major to win at Menangle (06/01) – finished eighth
